Free Baseline Testing From TLM
In many situations, but particularly in education, it is useful to know a learner’s journey. If they start from Point A, what steps are required to reach point C, do they need to go through point B etc? Equally important with this example is, what exactly is point A?
What does the learner currently know about a subject and what would they like to learn. Point A is a baseline. It is a point in a learner’s journey towards some objective. By knowing a baseline point, a teacher or an assessor can more easily determine what learning journey a person needs and how best to help them on that journey.
